Retired Nigeria police officers in Abuja took to the streets on Monday morning, demanding payment of their entitlements.

“Tinubu, pay police,” they chorused as they marched in their numbers on Monday morning at the Police Headquarters, Abuja.

Holding different banners and placards, the protesters marched to the National Assembly complex, chanting solidarity songs.

Activists like Omoyele Sowore and popular Hausa skit maker Bello Dangallanci joined the protest, demanding that the retired officers be paid their entitlements.
