Protocols.
I am honoured to give this farewell speech on behalf of my classmates.
July 26,2025,will forever be significant to us because this is where we draw the curtain in our primary school career.
We have gathered here not just to celebrate, but also to show gratitude to some of the principal actors who have made this day super blissful.
Let us take a moment to reflect on our journey from Year 1 to Year 6. Some of us could remember some incredible friends we made over the years; the times we went out on impactful excursions; the times our parents woke us up to get ready to school and we did not feel like going. The times we went from solving simple maths sums to complex ones.
Or is it the times we were made to write beautiful compositions about our classmates in English classes? The times our teachers went hard on us for not submitting homework and the moments we enjoyed learning?
This graduation has caused us to be introspective that we are growing so fast and as such, we are expected to be more responsible, show empathy, emit deep sense of commitment and aspire: because to whom much is given, much is expected.
They say ambition is not what a man would do, but what a man does, for ambition without action, is fantasy.
So, fellow graduands, we can proudly say that we have grown not just in knowledge but also in confidence and character.
We have been equipped with the right life skills and dexterity to go ahead, discover new vistas and accomplish great goals.
All these were made possible by Primegate Int’l Academy.
As we prepare for college, let’s always remember:
We’re ready!
We’re smart!
We’re strong!
We’re special!
We are capable!
We are the great Topaz!
Secondary school education may feel a little scary because we don’t know what to expect — new teachers, tougher subjects, and bigger responsibilities. But don’t be afraid.
We are not alone. We carry with us all the lessons, values, and love from our primary school years.
To our parents, thank you for walking and holding our hands in every step of the way.
Your unwavering support has made a tremendous difference in our lives and we promise to always do our best.
To our amazing teachers, your patience, kindness, and dedication have been instrumental in shaping our future. We are grateful for your influence.
We know we were annoying sometimes, but you supported and guided us like your own. How can we forget you!
Finally, to my fellow graduands, let us remember: the most common way people give up their power is by thinking they do not have any,but with us, we have all we need to excel!
So be kind, be bold and work hard.
Always respect others, and never stop believing in yourselves.
As we step into JSS 1, let us do so with smiles on our faces and courage in our hearts because we are going to achieve great things!
Congratulations, Class of 2025! You deserve this because you worked tirelessly hard for six donkey years.
We will sorely miss each other, but then,we are excited to see all the amazing things we can achieve together in the future.
May God bless you all.
Thank you.
