Tow persons who allegedly robbed a lady of her money and phones at the Wuse Zone 2 in Abuja were hit by a car while trying to escape.
An eyewitness said the suspects on Friday, September 12, 2025, allegedly snatched the woman’s belongings in broad daylight and attempted to flee the scene when a car ran over them leaving them sprawling in severe pains on the ground .
They were almost lynched by an angry mob, but the timely arrival of a police patrol team saved the situation.
At the time of filing this report, the FCT Police Command was yet to issue a statement on the incident.
