A ghastly motor accident which occurred in the early hours of Friday,December 12,2025,has claimed the lives of the two occupants,a man and lady.
The crash occured on the Sani Abacha Expressway, Wuse 2, after the bridge, in Abuja,the nation’s capital.
The accident involved a Mercedes Benz 4Matic GL 550 with registration number RBC- 95DJ and a Howo truck tipper belonging to a firm, Big-Dee company from Nasarawa State.
These were contained in a statement issued by the Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMD)’s Head of Public Affairs, Nkechi Isa.
According to the statement, the accident occurred about 1am when the Mercedes vehicle ran into the rear of the truck which was fully loaded “with fine stones.”
The driver and the lone female occupant of the vehicle died on the spot,the statement added.
“Their remains have been deposited at the morgue of the National Hospital,Abuja.
“Personnel of FEMD, Federal Road Safety Corps and FCT Police Command attended to the incident,” it stated.
